I am an aircraft maintenance apprentice. my day to day activities involve learning how to maintain the Eurofighter typhoon. I specialise in mechanical maintenance, so often find myself turning spanners! this is Ideal for me as I am practically inclined, and like getting my hands dirty!
I have gained new qualifications and improved existing skills. by taking courses and asking questions I have never stopped learning.
I get on with my work team really well, and have the full support of everyone at the company. BAE systems has a great reputation, and now I have worked for the company for a few years, it is obvious why!
I feel valued by my immediate team, however with BAE being such a big company sometimes senior management feel distant.
very. we always know what we will be doing and have a plan for the future.
the support available to us is easily accessible and readily available.

I feel the salary is good for an apprenticeship, however I moved a long way from home so paying for bills was hard at first!
We can use facilities that are provided by the RAF such as the gym.
Yes
Because the apprenticeship is the best in the country in my eyes!
be yourself!
