I am project based and my role involves procurement i.e. placing sub-contract orders, drafting subcontracts, valuing sub-contractors monthly applications for payment alongside daily contract admin valuing change/issuing instructions etc. I also assist with the Client valuation.
I have learnt and understood the principles of valuing main contract works and how to apply for this to the client team.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the apprenticeship programme as this has helped further develop my knowledge and understanding through on site experiences.
I feel like I am valued fairly highly and especially on the project I am based on, this can be shown with the increased responsibilities I have been tasked with on the project I am working on.
Fairly structured, I have a clear understanding on how the programme works and the requirements to complete the apprenticeship.
My training provider have offered assistance when required in regards of my learning and development.
My Employer have assisted me through my apprenticeship by providing me with the relevant experience in which I can transfer my knowledge learnt on the job into my studies.
No issues here, my travel expenses are covered by my Employer.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic opportunities outside work have become infrequent.
