As a technical apprentice, I assist members of my department with any assistance they require to make their job easier, such as taking on work and doing small jobs that save the engineers time.
Yes, as a lot of the work varies, I have gained a wide range of skills while learning on the job.
I really enjoy my apprenticeship, I would (and have) recommended it.
I do feel like I am part of the department, meaning the work I am doing is helping the company.
Very, I receive training and support, as well as some time to complete my college work and NVQ work.
I receive all the support and assistance, and more from the training team.
If I am stuck, or have any problems, my employers and supervisors are on hand to give me the advise and support I require.
I get paid well enough to live comfortably.
Yes, there are plenty of events and opportunities for me to get involved in workplace activities outside of work.
