I'm an apprentice who is working around 6 different areas of the business before deciding which area to go into.
I'm developing existing skills in college and learning lots of information about the company by the other qualification from GK apprenticeships. I'm also developing work based skills and participating in meetings due to the work that I'm doing.
It's been really good to experience each area of the business and learn more about different sectors.
Me and the other apprentices have recently been added to a work based project helping the company to save money.
At the start there wasn't much information on doing a qualification at all yet since then one of the apprenticeship managers has worked tirelessly to et my division of apprentices on two good courses.
The tutors and apprenticeship managers give us lots of training and advice that's very useful and have helped with the course and work massively. They have also helped if I have any problems or need to talk about outside matters.
They give good guidance and advice if there are any problems that I need help with.
They give brilliant packages on travel getting to and from work (they have helped me to get two travel cards on public transport that I use and offer great other packages for social life.
There are several training courses that help employees with development where we give employers any feedback and aim to develop.
Yes
Its been a superb apprenticeship to work on and I've enjoyed every minute.
Be honest, prepare well for the questions that will be asked in the interview and the week residential is a good opportunity to get to know others and make very good friends.
