Project Quantity Surveyor. Day-to-day activities consist of sub-contractor management, internal cost reporting, procurement, keeping site records up to date, site measurement and attending meetings.

Relatively enjoyable
As much as can be expected for a Trainee, I'm happy with this aspect
Holistically well organized in terms of the overall scheme but would have benefited from a more structured programme to cover all aspects of surveying. Workshops and work on a wider range of RIBA stages.
A good amount, all queries and concerns are answered promptly
Moderate amount, would have benefited from more support regarding my APC.
I believe the salary is on the lower end of average for someone with my level of experience but appreciate the consistent monthly income during these challenging times
