I am a junior software developer, assigned on a java project in a small local team
Yes, via on the job training I have learnt more about oracle and Java development
I enjoy the team work aspects and individual problem solving areas of the project. I am not enjoying the specifications or the initial project management
I occasionally get internal appreciation from other devs/team leads. I had my MSAP review in which I felt I should have obtained a higher score but received a pay raise which made me feel more valued.
My apprenticeship was not well structured/organised, having gone through 3 different tutors and having to chase multiple pieces of work etc. My current project keeps changing its functional spec which is also not appreciated.
I am no longer on an apprenticeship so therefore have no support
My local team lead is encouraging and engaging, My line manager will be encouraging me to take training courses and set objectives.
I am suitably compensated and don't have any large costs
yes although not in recent months, this can be improved.
Yes
It is a good place to work with good social aspects and encouraging staff.
Have an idea of what areas you are interested in and if you have any project ideas talk to management
