Observations Management working with numerous development, test, A+D and Client teams in order to aid progression of observations, issues and defects. The account I'm a part of has multiple inflight project and on a day to day basis I will have a main focus to be involved in but will still have interactions with the others
Since finishing the apprenticeship I have gained a level 4 qualification which has also came along with internal CGI training courses. Since I joined the programme I have gained experience in lots of different areas in order to best set foundations for my career. I started of working in BI data warehousing where I was working in a technical consulting position before changing after a year to work within project management and the to continue with my growth I have moved into a new role working in the management and administration side along with having involvement with test and dev
I have been given great opportunity to work with 3 different accounts and teams to which all 3 have given me greater exposure to working with clients directly and work from their locations. All these different experience have been great and I have really enjoyed it because I have been able to work with people from client users to programme directors
from having reviews at CGI I feel valued by the organization and the work I have shown both internally and externally for the client has been recognised and fed back to me and lead to positives outcomes for myself personally
since joining CGI I felt like it is a well structure programme with the company offering an induction for all new starts at the main CGI UK office which was followed by lots of training and support for us to receive and complete before undertaking our roles. Before we started working on a roles we were introduced to our mentor who would always be available to help but management have always made effort to seek recent up to see how we are progressing.
The tutors and assessors have provided good support and were able to provide guidance to any problems that we approached them about.
I have received great support from CGI and all the new roles that I've under taken where they have been able to quickly get me up to speed. I have also received support form someone who leads a UK area in able to aid my growth in my career.
I have a good salary which due to project work expenses also covers all living and travel costs
CGI provide voluntary work opportunity and also look to provide growth with the community, the company all offer sport and social nights out where they provide a contribution which can cover a whole night out.
