My current role involves working in the networking team for one of the new projects being undertaken by BAE Systems Maritime. This role consists of designing, implementing and testing various networks.
I have improved my networking and software development skills. I have also gained further experience of working with a customer.
The team I work with are very helpful and knowledgeable. I have enjoyed all my placements and found them all interesting.
I feel fairly valued at BAE. Although what you can and can't do does sometimes seem to be restricted by the "Apprentice" tag;
The programme is very well organised and structured with our college and placement development working we hand in hand.
The college we used are very helpful and answer any queries.
All the placement managers have given a lot of help throughout the program
The wage is good for an apprenticeship
