Project Management Apprentice Currently working in a contract team which involves collating data from each production area of the business into financial documents and spreadsheets to monitor the performance of my contract. The job involves reviewing data with senior management and presenting data to managers in the organisation.
The ability to manage risk through the internal databases and the interpersonal skills that come with presenting and meeting with different functions across the business
The apprenticeship is very enjoyable experience, getting a wide experience in roles and exposure to different skills. There is also a huge opportunity to work on secondment.
Extremely, the amount of responsibility that I am given is extremely rewarding whilst the extrinsic benefits such as pensions and bonuses also contribute to feeling valued by the business
The programme is well structured with 1 day at college per week studying the degree programme. There is a direct hierarchy for all apprentices on the scheme which includes a fantastic support network.
The college are always there to provide feedback on assignments during term times. There is also a facility at the college that help with assignments to get objective advice.
The support network is amazing, with personal and confidential support readily available whenever required. The training and opportunities are actively encouraged and often funded by the business
