I am currently in year 1 and this involves attending university and undergoing many exams including accounting and assurance etc.
I have learnt many new skills, for example how to prepare a set of accounts and the ethic problems that accountants may come across.
I thoroughly enjoy my programme and course at university. It is challenging, but very interesting and i can see how what I am learning now will be useful in the future.
I start working for PWC next year, so the only contact with PWC is a workshop they run for all the people on my course every week. However, this was very interesting.
It is very well organised and structured.
I receive a lot of support from many people, for example, my personal tutor at university, all my lecturers and PWC.
As I do not work for PWC yet, I have not needed any support from my employer.
I do not have a salary yet.
From talking to current flying start students and employees there seems to be many opportunities out of work.
Yes
They are a top accounting firm and a great employer.
