I am a site services apprentice technician. This involves different job roles on a day to day basis. This includes effluent chemical tests, boiler house tests, compressors, refrigeration, daily rounds, steam maintenance and pipework.
By completing various courses such as a M2 Spirax steam maintenance course, I have learnt many skills involving chemicals steam maintenance, compressors and also the day to day running of the AD plant.
I enjoy coming into work and completing daily tasks. I always feel I am coming into work and making a difference and achieving and setting new goals.
I feel valued on occasions however I feel the company could always try harder in acknowledging employees who go the extra mile.
I feel when it comes to completing assignments and having reviews and modules, they could be better planned out and the layout could always be improved. This is because they seem to come all at once.
I feel I receive adequate support.
I receive a lot of support from my department, however I feel the AMM'S could check upon progress a little bit more frequently.
No issues.
I have not noticed any.
