My role is to develop as an employee within the business and learn many different parts of the business so that I can be moved to areas where I am needed and further my career with BAE Systems, I also have to learn about on the tools so I have an understanding of the tasks at hand
I have learned many different hands on skills such as welding and pipe fitting, I have also developed my understanding of the physics involved in everyday life and developed my communication skills that I was not very confident with at the start of the programme
I enjoy the programme very much as I have met many new people and gained new skills I never thought I would have, I also enjoy the programme as I created new challenges everyday for me to overcome and find new ways of doing this
I feel very valued as I am constantly checked on and my views and opinions are cared about and taken into consideration
It is very well organised as all classes are set up to be catered to what I need for the business
I recieve a lot of support as they come up every week to check on us and ask if we have any questions
A lot of support as they provide all the equipment we need to continue our jobs
Very well as I have money that I can save for the future
I can apply for the Royal Navy reserves and the company allows me to go away and be apart of the scheme
Yes
They provide many opportunities to continue your career and push you to develop and enhance your skills
To be confident and express all knowledge and opinions you have that can help the business to expand and grow
