Currently full time at college. Classes involve theory and practical work
Yes, I've learned practical skills like welding, wiring and pipe cutting. Also developed existing skills like maths.
It's very enjoyable as there are a good variation of subjects that we do which keeps it interesting.
Very valued. We are made aware of how much esteem the apprenticeship programme is held in by the company.
There was an in depth induction and the college course is well organised
We have plenty of support from out training officer and our senior lecturer at college.
Once again we get plenty of support from the company. Our point of contact is our training officer and they're always available to help with any issues.
The current salary meets my current needs but looking forward to the annual increases.
As we have not been at the workplace much, I'm not fully aware of any opportunities outside of work
Yes
It's a great company and world renowned. You get to do interesting work which is making a difference.
Be confident in yourself and don't worry if you don't have certain skills yet as there is plenty of opportunity to learn and develop if you're willing to
