Costain value each and every employee and take the time to have reviews and apprenticeship catch ups to ensure i feel satisfied in what i am doing. They also encourage my to think about my next steps into the future and not just on the present.
There is not too much communication from the apprenticeship team/ learning and development. There needs to be improvement there. My line manager is not fully aware of my apprenticeship scheme and does not seem to grasp the complete idea of the programme. It would be helpful if the project had a point of contact for apprentices.
My training provider are ok. I have to go to them for help mostly. They are good at providing information once your request it but do not necessarily offer it out.
My employer offer more support than my training provider but, they are not always communicating with the apprentices.
I personally believe that my apprentice salary is ok, but most much would make it sufficient. I have raised this before.
Costain are continuously doing social/networking and voluntary events. Many of which i have attended
