pipe fitting apprentice who takes part in multiple tasks from bending marine pipework to installing it
I have learnt many new skills from being able to bend pipe work and allowing for various fitttings all the way to installing pipe work onto the boat
I have enjoyed the programme and have got to learn manyn new skills aswell as meeting new people and making new friends.
I feel abit valued by bae but as there are so many workers I also fell like just a number.
I think it could become more oirganised as in when appretices move around should all be organised for them as we end up with loads of faffing about and chasing up cooridinators to ask when we are moving ect.
I don't feel like we redcive a massive amount of support some tradesman don't like apprewntices so they don't like working with them so you ckinda get forget about and don't end up learning especially if people are shy.
I feel my employer dosent give that much support as its all on the training coooridinators.
I feel my salry is very good especially as I live only 5 minutes away from my place of work. but who wouldn't say yes to more money...
theres are a few opportunities but not that many unles you willing travel away.
