Apprentice at Tyne met college, daily tasks include completing assignments and knowledge questions whilst at college.
I’ve improved my knowledge on pneumatic, electronic and hydraulic systems over the duration of my apprenticeship.
The first year of the apprenticeship was hard work due to the large amount of assignments that had to be completed. However the practical work in the second year is more enjoyable.
We are occasionally are invited to a town hall meetings.
The programme is well structured and all work is completed on time without the need to rush at the end.
We are given as much support as we need to get the tasks done.
We are provided with as much support as we need.
The salary is alright for an apprenticeship, however for apprentices living away from home the costs are higher and sometimes the salary is stretched.
Not any development opportunities however we do have team building and company get togethers.
Yes
The apprenticeship programme is good and sets you up for life well.
Just be yourself and enjoy the time with Siemens.
