I was part of the audit team for 2 clients (one for 2 weeks and the other for around 3 months). I was responsible for several sections of the audit which was very fulfilling.
I have improved my communication skills by talking to clients and also attention to detail with my work. I have learnt professional scepticism and the importance of it.
I loved my placement as it gave me a real insight into working life and exposed me to large clients.
My team appreciated the work I did so I was valuable to them.
It is very well organised since my time is split between placement and university.
We had a week of training prior to placement but the real job was learnt from asking questions.
I asked a lot of questions to understand the job.
Overtime pay makes the pay quite good.
I worked too many hours to fulfil any opportunity.

I liked the people on my team and was exciting to be part of a large audit.
