Currently I am in a project support role, This consists of assisting the Pm with daily tasks such as - Meetings - Actions - Reporting - Stakeholder management - Communication management - Team central point
I have been able to develop largely on my; - stakeholder management skills - Communication skills - own and be responsible for tasks
I enjoy my programme, but am considering now my next steps in my career. with the xperience I have gained through my precious placements I am now ready to apply and move to a new role.
I feel very valued as I have had many great management. I have also worked along side amazing colleagues who have always supported my learning and studies.
I would suggest this is the area that lacks greatness. The programme is very un orginised the scheme and the bank did not seem as if they where aligned and there was no clear expectations od having an apprentice on the team, which was a shame as I was not able to benefit from my full placement due to lack of awarness
I did not receive much support from my training provider. we had some training sessions but based on how much the board for exams changed we could have had more sessions in place with our assessor and training provider.
I have had support from colleagues . The bank has provided many opportunities to move around and be exposed to different areas of the bank. this was useful as it allowed me to get an idea of all the different roles and business areas in the bank
The salary and pay is reasonable for the grade. considering the qualification is something which is paid for by the bank it is a great opportunity and in a lucky position being young and in my first job.
I believe I am picking up many skills which will allow me to transfer out of the work place. Also has provided me the experience and confidence to do many other things out of work and take ownership and new prespective to day to day life.
Yes
I believe Lloyds banking group is a fantastic place to begin your career. They care for their employers and have variatey of opportunities many departments and reputation .
LLoyds is a great company to work for, They provide you the first stepping stone into your career. I would suggest being prepared for the big jump form education in to full time work. But iguess that is with any job!
