I am a complaints handler. I have to assess complaints from customers and decide on a fair outcome for both the customer and the business, and pay any compensation and redress where warranted. my daily tasks include monitoring influx of complaints via a mailbox, ensuring I stick to regulatory timescales and deal with complaints in a timely and effective manner.
I have learned new skills, such as being able to value compensation effectively when it is justified to pay it. I have also been able to enhance existing skills, such as conversation management and negotiation. I have learned how to use and access more systems on the computer to effectively investigate and manage my work. The role has allowed me to effectively know how to word and communicate my own issues.
I very much enjoy my program. It allows me to develop existing skills, and has taught me more about my rights as an employee of Lloyds bank, and what to do if I have an issue that needs to be addressed. the program exceeded my expectations, and helped me to be more confident with public speaking.
I feel very valued by Lloyds Banking Group. I feel my pay fairly reflects the work I do, and I get rewarded for the work I do. I always feel that management are grateful for the effort that is put in by the department, and this is reflected in feedback given. I feel that the benefit of free bupa health care for being an employee of the bank reflects how much each staff member is valued.
my program is very well organised. I have meeting scheduled well in advance and it is always made clear what is expected of me and what work I need to complete by certain deadlines. If I need help or guidance on anything, I know I can email and ask for additional support.
I receive a lot of support from my training provider. Adele will always go through in detail what is expected of me, and go over anything im not sure of. If I need help with any of my work or if im not sure about anything, I can always email Adele and she will come back to me with guidance and advice.
I receive a lot of support from my employer. I never have problem getting time scheduled off for me to attend my apprenticeship meetings and complete my work. If I need additional time, management are always accommodating and will try and facilitate this for me as best as they can.
My salary does meet my costs well. I have recently had a change of band and I do feel that my salary gives a much fairer reflection of the job I so. I am able to pay all of my bills and still have money left over for myself. This gives me more of a sense of achievement within my role and that I am being paid fairly for the hard work I do.
There are lots of opportunities outside of work. with Lloyds, most of these evolve around charitable giving. There are always charities that Lloyds are supporting that need people to donate time, items or money to help with their causes. Outside of work I like to attend the gym and socialise with friends.
Yes
great employer. Lots of opportunities for progression within the business and lots of support from management to develop you to get t the next stage in your career.
If you are hard working, contentious and a team player I would recommend applying for Lloyds. Be honest in your application and do some research on the business to get to know the different brands that come under the Lloyds banking group umbrella. Dress smartly for your interview and ask lots of questions about the role.
