I am a customer advisor at LBG. Everyday I answer calls from customers and help them out in anyway I can. My main role is CRT which is customer retention so customers call me about their renewal price to see if I can do anything better and if not to cancel. I also sale new policies to new and existing customers if that is the bets option for them to save money and get the required cover.
I have learnt many skills since taking this role. I am now an expert in Home Insurance and I am also great with communicating to my colleagues but mainly to customers. My customer service skills have come a long way since starting this role and I am now very confident when dealing with customers and I am very friendly aswell.
I really enjoy this programme as I have learnt so many new skills and it is also very rewarding. I really enjoy helping customers out as much as possible when dealing with their home insurance. I find it hard to get my work completed sometimes but the people who I work with are so supportive and helpful and they try their absolute hardest to help me out.
I feel very valued here, I am constantly getting support from my management and my whole team are great too. Everyone in my team get on really well inside and outside of work and we all value each other equally. Every week we have a meeting to talk about changes in the business and to raise any concerns that we might have.
The programme is pretty well organised. I have meeting with my Apprenticeship coach every six weeks and they completely update me and help me out loads. I do think that it might be helpful if these meetings were slightly more regular though as this would always keep us on track and have constant support.
I get a lot of support from my training provider. Whenever I have a question, I can send her a text or email and she is always helpful and our meetings every six weeks are very helpful. however, I do feel it might be beneficial to have more face to face meetings.
I receive so much support from LBG, they help me up as much as possible. Due to the environment I work in, sometimes its hard to get free time to get some of my apprenticeship work done but they always try their hardest to get me some time off to do this.
My salary is great. I get paid a great wage for someone my age on an apprenticeship scheme. This job is very rewarding and it really does pay very well and hopefully, as I go on in LBG, my wage will just get higher and higher and you can never say no to more money.
LBG do a lot of charity events and sports/social events as well, there is always something going on that you can get involved in if you want to. LBG is great for meeting people and Networking and when you do charity work, its very rewarding as well.
Yes
I would recommend LBG to anyone as it is so rewarding in every way. The people you work with our great, the opportunities you get are great and hopefully it will lead to a great career as well. You learn so many skills with dealing with people and with working in a busy environment.
If you work for LBG its great to get your foot in because there are so many different opportunities and paths to move onto once you are in the business and you're always developing towards something better.
