Job Title: Flying Start Degree programme - FS1, Milton Keynes Learning how audit is performed, being coached by more senior people, networking with various people
I am completing my exams for ICAEW and being supported by PwC PwC offers a many and different training courses in various fields that people from all grades can attend
The teams are amazing, friendly, supportive PwC is very dedicated to coaching and there is always someone to help if you need them The people strive to be the best in the sector, which also means you get experience from the top professionals
You are always valued at PwC, people really care about employees' wellbeing, and there are monthly recognition awards for which even junior people like me were nominated
The programme I believe is the best you can find: 1) your modules at uni are tailored to your qualification and you get exempt from 12 out of the 15 professional exams 2) you get three work placements with a top firm - PwC - and you complete most of your hours required to obtain the qualification 3) if you get a 2:1 you are offered a job within the firm This is indeed an escalation route to success! If I could give it 50 stars, I would!!!
Tutors are always taking care of your wellbeing - you usually have at lease three people at any time - your personal tutor, one or two STaR Mentors, PAL leaders, People managers, Region managers, Buddies at work, People from the years above who volunteer to support juniors joining their offices etc etc etc!
There are a lot of resources you could use and some amazing benefits you would have access to - come find yourself!
My salary package is well good, it even covers all my university fees. Not to mention you get paid for overtime and your relocation expenses are covered - and you get niiiiice fancy accommodation to stay in while you are on placement, how cool is that!
Billions. Networking events happen all the time, and I mean AAAALL the time - charity, sports, quiz nights, business, training, going out (and getting free pizza and drinks and whatnot!) Not only that, but you can organise your own events - we created a badminton night and even had tournaments with different companies! Fun times....
Yes
It is the best place to work. Countless benefits! Of course, if you like what you do.
ABSOLUTELY NUMBER 1 TIP: JOIN THE READING UNI FLYING START PROGRAMME Also, always show passion to learn - and have it! Driven people are the ones who succeed!
