Currently I work as a Data Scientist analysing data sets using machine learning to provide insight into business problems
Yes I regularly get the opportunity to develop both technical and business knowledge within my role and as part of wider company initiatives.
I enjoy my programme a great deal it has provided me with the opportunity to work in a variety of roles and deliver value to an important industry whilst also improving my own skills.
I have felt valued and appreciated within every team I have worked in within AstraZeneca.
The programme is well structured with each apprentice having multiple mentors for regular support as well as having day to day support from other AstraZeneca employees.
All tutors I have interacted with have always been willing to hold sessions beyond the scheduled time to ensure students can reach their goals. They are always enthusiastic to hear new ideas and thoughts on a variety of problems.
I have received a brilliant amount of support throughout all of my rotations within a variety of teams at AstraZeneca. My mentor in particular has always been exceptional at helping me with any questions or issues that have presented themselves.
The salary package meets my costs even with me having to travel a fair distance to work.
There are constantly opportunities to be involved in sporting, educational or social activities outside of the workplace as well as company activities and events throughout working hours.

I have found AstraZeneca to be a great place to work and the work being done has a meaningful impact on so many peoples lives and its brilliant to be a part of that.
