So everyday I deal with tickets in regards to servers and routers specifically, if a client needs upgraded router/server or simply wants to order new ones I deal with the configurations and making sure that it gets sent out with field service to be installed correctly and successfully and not forgetting quickly. I also deal with hard drives from old devices and making sure that they get destroyed in regards to data protection acts and making sure it is done properly.
Yes i have learnt a lot on configuring networks and building networks within corporations. I am able to set up routers and servers from scratch and am able to link them together to build a reliable and useful network. I have also learnt how to communicate on a professional basis with a team and also with clients to make everything more smooth and professional.
I enjoy it very much. I have a good team and good experiences. Everything is going smoothly and nicely.
I feel very valued and important at the workplace. I have a number of responsibilities and am therefore needed often to do jobs. I feel like a proper member of the team at this point.
It is well structured from Bloomberg and their side. However Step Forward have let me down with being structured on their side and the course.
Not much sometimes. At times it isn't much support.
I receive a lot of support from my employer. If i need anything they are there to help and always are helpful with any issues and are always willing to help and give advice with issues and guide me.
It is ok but with travel expense and food and comparing it to other jobs in the market that aren't an apprenticeship it isn't too much.
Not really. I have had a few but not for something of my own fancy.
Yes
They are well organised, friendly, collaborative, fun, helpful and make you feel welcome and well treated. It is a great environment to work in and brings a smile to my face most times.
Articulate yourself, be yourself and make it count!
