My job title is a Manufacturing Apprentice. As an apprentice you are involved in many forms of engineering activity such as assembling defence equipment for many different countries and companies.
Gained a PEO, soldering skills, wiring skills, general engineering skills, electronics knowledge, ongoing SVQ, ongoing NC Engineering Systems
I enjoy the programme very much. The work is very interesting, the team I work with are all nice, the company is a very big and successful company which provides many benefits
Feel very vauled by the company
You start at college for 6 months to gain your PEO then you are in the workplace for 3 month placements in different departments where you will continue to learn. You're SVG and NC are ongoing as you attend college every Tuesday.
