My role includes stacking the shelves, stock rotation, serving customers at the till. As part of my management training I am expected to be producing high standards and going that bit further with the jobs provided.
Yes indeed ,I have gained further patients with customers & understanding to their needs. I have learned to be efficiant with speed and presentation as a team.
Fully, I have made a great group of friends including management and colleagues. I look forward to a shift knowing it will challenge me and go through fast with a exotic group of peers.
Very valued, without staff attending there shift the full team feel it and we lag a bit behind, every effort and contribution is important. Aldi becomes a very important part of your life for progression and friends.
I have a tutor I attend meetings with to learn more about knowledge on customer service and a one to one with my manager in store which includes anything from progress, improvements to how I’m feeling about my routine of work
As much as required, recently I received a tablet where I can do my training on as I had no access to laptop etc. Very helpful.
As stated before I attend meetings regularly, to insure my happiness in store is fulfilled and gives me a chance to inform him on any disturbances or even apprecistion regarding guidance from management.
Unfortunately, as an apprentice it is not as a supportive pay as regular store assistants, although as an apprentice, in comparison to other’s: it is a fantastic salary. It is worth the wait, you receive a qualification at the end and have a large step in the door for management.
Yes we have an app for aldi workers, in the app it has benefits which include wow points and discounts on many stores. We also have a chat line for troubles regarding work or without. If you ever feel the need that is.
Yes
Aldi is a fantastic company to work for, challenges you everyday mentally and physically. Your job gives you real responsibility. There are many benefits outside work, also within works to progress. Aldi becomes a family like environment.
Insure you are ready for a challange and determined to follow through with how you presented yourself to begin with. Follow through with intentions and play part as a team.
