To attend college and gain the qualifications that I require to move on to my second year.
Yes, my knowledge of engineering is much better now and I am developing the skills I will require to achieve my overall qualification and be good at my job.
Overall I enjoy my job and like learning new skills. I think at times I could be doing more with my time and learning more, but this is more to do with the college staff and sometimes lack of knowledge from them.
I feel valued and think that the 12 weekly reviews help to give positive praise about the work that I am doing.
Overall pretty well.
We have good access of support and there is always someone that we can go to see or contact.
I get what I need, and have access to more and know where to go if I feel that i need more support.
Personally the salary does not meet my living/daily/social costs, but I am not the main earner in my household and do have extra childcare costs so it is reasonable amount.
I use discount from my local gym.
Yes
I am being given the opportunity to earn whilst learning a good trade that will then lead to a well paid job. This is something that I would not of been able to do without being paid due having a family and a house to pay for.
Be prepared for you interview, research what you want to do and work hard.
