  • Yes, my knowledge of engineering is much better now and I am developing the skills I will require to achieve my overall qualification and be good at my job.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Overall I enjoy my job and like learning new skills. I think at times I could be doing more with my time and learning more, but this is more to do with the college staff and sometimes lack of knowledge from them.

  • I feel valued and think that the 12 weekly reviews help to give positive praise about the work that I am doing.

  • Overall pretty well.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • We have good access of support and there is always someone that we can go to see or contact.

  • I get what I need, and have access to more and know where to go if I feel that i need more support.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Personally the salary does not meet my living/daily/social costs, but I am not the main earner in my household and do have extra childcare costs so it is reasonable amount.

  • I use discount from my local gym.

  • 9. Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I am being given the opportunity to earn whilst learning a good trade that will then lead to a well paid job. This is something that I would not of been able to do without being paid due having a family and a house to pay for.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
  • Be prepared for you interview, research what you want to do and work hard.
