Depending on the department I work within will depend on the role I take on. Sometimes I am given a task for the whole placement whereas others give you different tasks throughout.
I have gained plenty of qualifications, within my apprenticeship so far. The main skills I have improved are my IT skills, mainly Excel.
Working within an engineering environment that is always changing.
I think this does depend on the department you’re in and the work you are doing.
Very well structured, I am given all the support I need.
If ever I need support it is there for me.
Again this does depend on the department I’m in. We don’t have a mentor, and I think I would go to my training manager if i needed support because they have more time for me.
Because I’m living at home it does, but I think I would struggle if I was living on my own.
There are a few, but I don’t think they are advertised very well. I don’t really hear of any.
Yes
Because it is a great place to work. There are so many plus points working for such a large company it’s hard to explain.
Do a good application and interview. The tests are done at home so ask someone to sit by your side. Be prepared to travel if your applying for Brough as the interview may be at Warton. Make sure you do your homework on the company!
