Kitchen team leader, leading the team to make sure the shift runs smoothly and that the food goes out correctly to spec and to legislation. Reporting back to my management team with any issues, concerns or ideas.
It has given me a better insight into the the industry and realise that there is more too it. It has allowed me to become a better leader too.
Tutor was very helpful and gave me a lot of advice so it was enjoyable and fairly easy to complete.
They do their best with such a vast amount of staff but should try more to make sure everyone's needs are met and listened to.
It was organised quite well with monthly meetings with the tutor to make sure that I was on the right track.
Loads. Tutor and management helped out loads with the course.
Management helped where they could
I just scrape by every month but a little more would go a long way really.
In this industry I suppose there is but if I wanted to change industry there really isn't a way to keep my home and do something different without going into education.
No
