work experince student Review

The day would typically start with myself and the other work experience students receiving advice and answering our questions on pursuing a career in law. Then we would go to our allocated teams and start our work for that specific day. The work usually was research on different cases or on legislation which I overall found to be extremely interesting. I also took part in a mock employment tribunal which was not only very interesting but also very fun.

I have learned a lot of skills from this experience like email communication skills and further developed my skills on research and how to present it professionally. This experience has also helped so much with my confidence which has really helped me as an individual.

To a great extent I have enjoyed this programme, the work was very interesting and the different teams were all very pleasant to work along side with. This week outstood my expectations which I am thrilled to say. I have really enjoyed it and am quite sad to say it is over.

I felt very valued with regards to my time being here, everyone introduced themselves and thought of my well being. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel apart of the team.

The programme was fantastically structured especially they fact we got an itinerary of the week the first day we arrived and kept to that structure throughout the whole week. The training was very beneficial and the tasked that were allocated were made very clear and easy to understand.

I had so much support from each supervisor as they all were Eagar to make me feel at ease and to answer any of my questions.

Not many at my school so this has been extremely beneficial for me.
