looking through files of customers and transactions to mitigate the risk to the bank and all its stakeholders. stopping financial crimes such as Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Bribery and corruption.
I have learnt a number of new skills and developed ones such as my attention to detail. team working is critical in this role and has helped me a lot along the way.
I love my line of work as it very interesting, the team I am around is brilliant and we love working together and bouncing ideas off each other. The culture at Santander is one of the best to work in and the behaviours are embedded into each employee ensuring the workplace is an enjoyable one to be in.
Santander values each and every staff member and there are multiple channels for employees to recognise each other which promotes praising people for their efforts. there are 1-2-1 manager meeting often to ensure you progression is tracked and any concerns to be reported.
the programme is set out well and broken down efficiently.
BPP have a website which is easily accessible and provides all the resources required. the session they hold leading up to exams are in detail and make a huge difference.
Santander have supported me throughout my journey ensuring I have enough time to study for my qualifications and enough time on the job training.
for an apprentice the salary is very good and meets my needs as I commute to work daily. The salary potential and growth is very large which is a major indicator of how much Santander value the programme.
yes, the company has multiple sporting clubs and extra curricular activities that range from weekly football matches to Spanish lessons.
