As a store apprentice my role includes stacking shelfs, working on a till and general customer service. Depending on which shift I am working my roles and responsibilities can vary. From working the chiller on the early shift to working the ambient on the back shift.
Since starting my role at Aldi I have learned a lot from not only my colleagues, but also the customers. I have learnt how stock rotation works, how to work on a till and how to please my customers.
I have enjoyed my programme so far, my team have been great with welcoming me and making me feel like part of the team.
I feel very valued by Aldi. I have now worked at Aldi for 4 months and it's been one of the best decisions I've made.
My programme so far has been organised very well although I haven't had very much contact with my lecturer up until the past few days.
I haven't spoke much with my lecturer although we have met and he was very helpful and friendly.
I receive great support from my manager and he is great at motivating myself to do better.
It is amazing for someone my age.
Yes, for example all the staff here are attending a water park to raise money for charity.
Yes
I would recommend Aldi to a friend because so far it's been a great company too work for and you are very well looked after.
Make sure that working various shifts, weekends etc and dealing with customers is something you think you would like to do and most importantly, be good at. As Aldi is very fast paced.
