As an apprentice craftsperson, I do my training both onsite and at the training centre. At the training centre we learn about the equipment we will be working with onsite and how it works, then we are able to put what we have learnt into practice onsite, working with experienced craftsperson's to gain experience with the equipment and further our knowledge.
Doing the courses such as hands kills and machine shop have taught me new skills and also improved some things that I already knew.
I enjoy the onsite time where we can work on the equipment with the craftsperson's.
AS an apprentice everybody on the time is willing to help talk you through something if you do not understand it.
