The job title of my role is HVDC Apprentice. In the time that I have been here I have learned about health and safety and am currently completing a hand skills course.
I am currently completing a Level 2 Hand skills course which will link onto my level 3 qualification that I will be working towards in the coming years.
The apprenticeship so far has been very enjoyable and I think the style of learning suits my needs.
I feel like a valued employee of the company with many people here to support me along the way with anything I need help with.
The induction for company was very well organised and gave me a lot of information about the company and all the necessary information.
I receive a lot of support. we have 10 weekly meetings to ensure that everything is going all ok with the apprenticeship.
I receive a lot of support from my employer and I feel like there is always someone to talk to if I need to.
At the moment the salary is good as all travel costs and travel costs are paid for.
Yes there are plenty things at the training academy to do in the evening such as a gym, golf, football, bar and bar games.
Yes
I believe that it is a great company to be in and that they treat their staff with a lot of respect.
Be yourself.
