- Coaching of junior staff - Reporting to managers/partners on the status of the audit and key issues - Liaising with the client for status updates/ commercial updates/ audit requests - Reviewing of junior staff work - Completing the audit work for more complex areas
- I have received the ACA qualification - I have also earned the audit qualification - I have developed my public speaking skills - I have developed and practiced my coaching skills - I have learnt to effectively prioritise and manage my own work load
- I have an extremely supportive team who make coming to work fun and enjoyable - I have colleagues at work who I can socialise with and also seek guidance from their own experiences and knowledge - We have regular department socials to meet new people within our department and to relax and celebrate the hard work
- The quarterly feedback process reminds me that my managers/ senior team members appreciate our hard work - We have bonuses linked to our performance to recognise our hard work and contribution - Recognition awards can be distributed by managers and above to show their appreciation
- Study leave to attend college to facilitate with the qualification - Regular training within EY as a chance to learn new skills and network with new people - Annual progression within EY
- Sufficient face-to-face time in college to help learn - Access to the teachers at Kaplan when we are back at work - Their marking process of mock papers however is slow and poor quality
