I travel to client sites and ensure they have correctly accounted for figures they raise in their stats.
There are multiple exams and training programmes in place to periodically advance my skillset.
My colleagues are very helpful and the work is okay.
Recognition needs improving by EY as there aren't many motivational boosters to exceeding expectations.
There is a defined structure in terms of progression and qualification.
Kaplan aren't very helpful and don't provide adequate resources a lot of the time. They have also leaked personal data before and have failed to give the correct revision materials for an exam I sat when the date of taking it was moved.
Counselling and support is generally quite good as well as there being a formal feedback system that allows us to improve.
As I still live at home and have no uni debt the salary is great however it would not be an affordable living salary if I was moved out or had any uni debt.
Secondments, socials and projects such as recruitment/charity/business events are generally available.
Yes
All in all a good job to have that provides a well renowned qualification with generally good pay and not to much strain.
Learn to drive before joining, be prepared to have to be away for weeks for college and client work.
