- Job title; Assistant Senior - Daily tasks; Vary by client, this could be leading the team, delivering updated to the manager, completing high risk accounts. Daily interactions; Interactions with both the client and management & partners. - Responsibilities; Please see above. - Projects; Various projects around audit, depending on the client and complexity.
Yes, expanded and developed multiple skills such as excel, communication. Also training to be a chartered accountant. However training has now been provided through home study learning which is awful.
The company culture is awful, long daily commutes and long working hours, very hard to have a work life balance. Did not meet my expectations at all, as this wasn't communicated prior to taking on the role.
I do get good feedback from the manager who appreciate the hard work I put in to the role, however on an overall EY stance feel very unappreciated by the company, e.g. removal of impact awards and minimal bonuses.
Very poorly, minimal support provided rarely meet with my advisor .
Very poor, now being provided home study which is atrocious and adds to the stress of the job.
Very little support from employer, raised my concerns with no action being taken.
Salary is well paid, however considerably less than a graduate for doing the same role.
Very little activities outside of work apart from drinking on a Friday.
No
Would recommend going to uni and going through the graduate route.
Would've been liked to have been told the commuting and hours that are required
