I prepare tax returns for expats and work alongside a client team to provide a service to assignees. This includes phoning, faxing and emailing companys, assignees and HMRC. I have worked on a number of projects within my team which has allowed me to vary my work pattern and not focus soley on tax returns.
I am currently studying for my ATT qualifications and hope to achieve this by May 2015. I am constantly learning new skills that include communication, networking and IT skills.
I love my programme and the people I work with. I enjoy coming to work and feel challenged each day.
PWC are great to work for. We are constantly praised for our achievements by our manager and partners in London. Feedback is constantly given and overall there is always a strong push on our personal developement.
The programme is structured relatively well. The hands on approach and exam training are excellent, however the additional coursework element can sometimes feel monotanous.
Kaplan offer study material and classes. They provide mock exams and feedback.
PWC offer support from peers and managers. No matter what the problem is I feel that there is someone I can address.
The salary is not what I would expect. I feel that the salary could be increased due to the respondsibilities put on us.
There are plently of social activities e.g dinners, galas, dog racing, lazer quest and the cinema trips.
