Its a customer service advisor role so I take calls about lots of things like balance enquiries, overdrafts, dormant accounts, transferring money etc. There is a lot of responsibility with the job as it is very easy to accidently send money to the wrong place or spell an address incorrectly and all of these things have a detrimental impact on our customers.
Yes Ive learnt lots of things like simple thigns I never knew about before like the different between current and available balances, cheque clearances, and also more complex things like what to do in difficult situations like fraud or bereavement.
I really enjoy the programme I love the job and some of the skills we've learnt along the way have been brilliant just for my personal use, not just for business purposes
very valued, everyone is very supportive and its a great atmosphere
the programme is structured, we are always advised when things are due and when we are in training etc well in advance
A lot of support, our apprenticeship manager Grant is always happy to help and support us in any way he can, and we can phone him or email whenever we need any further assistance.
lots of support ive never had an issue, everyone is very warm and welcoming and do everything they can to help us out and encourage us to do well
its a very good salary considering minimum wage is 3 pound something, its more than enough to cover rent, food travel etc
there are good ebnefits for gym memberships etc and voluntary projects, also lost of company events to attend
Yes
they are a great employer, they really care about their employees and their customers
definitely go for it, theres an online application and then a telephone consultation type thing and then an actual interview. the proper interview consists of like a numeracy test which is fairly basic and also a one to one interview
