my job involves various different tasks. These include anything from attaching parts to engines to making new parts or sitting through a college or training course. I also interact with people who posses a larger amount of experience then me on a daily basis. I am provided a surplus of breaks and time to get work done.
I have learnt a large variety of skills at my job. These range from very specialised skills to more simpler everyday skills such as financing or torque tightening. These skills allow me to grow as a person in many ways. I am able to obtain many level 2 and 3 qualifications through this apprenticeship
I enjoy my apprenticeship a lot due to the job and the people I work with. The people I work with are amazing people who are all very talented and skilled. Everyone is a hard working individual whose job means the world to them. I am given many opportunities to enjoy myself through my job.
I feel valued in many ways at Rolls Royce. If I ever have a problem there is always someone who I can talk to and get advice from and also provide me with any help and support I need. I often receive appreciation from my manager or other higher ups which often is fed through the site.
My programme is extremely well structured. It included a large induction which provided me with any information that I needed. My programme also includes various training exercises such as driving or manual handling. These are well delegated and my programme is very well organised. I am also given a large amount of time to study all the topics necessary.
I receive a large amount of support from all my training providers with whatever it is I need support with. All of my training providers have a very positive attitude to helping me with whatever it is I need which provides me with a lot of enjoyment. They also give me large amounts of advise in various areas.
I receive a it of support with everything it is I need support with. There is a dedicated HR team to support me with whatever it is I need who provide guidance on many problems. They have a very positive attitude towards helping me and other apprentices whenever we need it and they are extremely easy to contact.
My salary is extremely competitive and meets all of my living costs and travel costs however it would not be enough if I lived alone. My salary allows me to have a good social life and live within a fair distance from work. My daily costs are also met by my salary.
There are many company events and activities such as parties, dinners and sports teams which I am given the opportunity to participate in. There is also the option to volunteer to visit schools to teach children about my job and what it entails which goes towards my profile at the end of my apprenticeship.
