depending on what part of the warehouse im in depends on my tasks for the day. at the moment im on specials, on a normal day i do the trolleys which is where i take them appart and tidy them all up. next i go for break then see my section leader who gives me another job to do. this is normally picking. during the day i talk to a lot of other employees and work in a team.
since ive started i feel a lot more confident and knowledgeable. soon i will be getting my reach, bulk and fork lift licence. i have learnt a lot of things.
currently i am enjoying the experience. the work is quite hard but the people that i work along side help to pass the time and make it a more enjoyable experience. when i first started a didn't think that it was going to be as good as what it is.
i feel quite a valued employer as my job roles are very similar to what the normal workers have to do.
i think the programe is very well structured. it is all set out on paper ready for me to look at and i know exactly what im doing before i do it. there is plenty of support if i need any. i have had enough training if so too much as there is some training i have done that is just common knowledge like how to pick things up and how to use a step ladder.
every month someone from mantra comes in and asseses what we have done. i find it quite pressurising as the person is recording us and what we say.
i recieve a good amount of support and if i need any more support than all i do is ask.
since i am living at home i dont have any bills or anything to pay for so the money is good. i am paying for a motobike and insurance. i pay board every month. in total every month i pay 400 pound then after that is what i have for the month.
yes. there are lots of charity raising oppertunities available.
Yes
this is because i know it is a good place of work where they will be treated well.
i would tell them what i said at the interview. tell them to research some awards that aldi has won recently because when i went i only knew one award. make sure that u turn up on time and wear appropriate clothing.
