We rotate between work placements and college on a 10 weeks:4 weeks ratio. We study and have assignments set during college. During placements we sit within a team (different during each placement) and learn on the job and have the opportunity to work towards our assignments.
I am constantly learning new and developing existing skills during this varied apprenticeship.
I am thoroughly enjoying this apprenticeship and I feel privileged to be on it.
I feel very valued. EDF Energy have been very supportive of my personal circumstances.
We are the first set of apprentices to go through this particular programme so it is a bit or a working progress; but this also makes it flexible to change in positive directions and allows us a degree of input which is quite exciting.
Our course tutor is very supportive and brings so much positivity and energy to our learning.
Everyone I have met so far has been very engaged with, and positive about the apprentices; being more than happy to both share knowledge and advise.
Very well.
Not that I have been engaged with so far.
Yes
I joined EDF Energy after seeing how well they were treating friends of mine and I have not been dusappointed! I feel very lucky to be employed by EDF Energy.
Just be yourself and relax. The assessment centres are looking at so many factors to find the correct fits that you just need to enjoy the process and try not to analyse it too much. If you are unsuccessful, don't let that put you off applying for another apprenticeship with them.
