I am a windows server engineer for RBS. This role involves me building and configuring servers and also engineering them for other reasons that can occur. We work in 2 week sprints which allows us to intensely deliver goals on certain projects.
Yes - but from my team members and not through any programme courses
I enjoy the role - but not the programme. I finished my first year after 3 months and had no support for the rest of the first year. I was just left to do my day job.
I feel very appreciated from RBS from my colleagues and manager as well as other teams.
Shambolic - mix up of communications from the outset. Programme length changed during it. Extension of 6 months which is not ideal. Finished my first year after 3 months and then no support for the rest of that first year.
first three months there was a lot - there after there was nothing
100% support from my team
very well however my travel costs are quite high
yes there are lots of oppurtunities
Yes
Great company to work for - avoid the apprenticeship scheme or make sure you have a clear outset of how it works in writing so there are no grey areas!!!
