Technical analyst My day to day job is to run health checks on our SCCM infrastructure, this involves running scripts, checking backups, checking component issues, checking database replication etc. I then compile this data in an email and sent it out to my team. We then have a daily 10am meeting to discuss my findings and discuss any other issues.
I have learned tremendous amounts of new skills in such a short time since starting my apprenticeship. I have been put through numerous courses from QA and also put through an SCCM course specific to my role in the team. This has greatly increased my understanding in things such as, windows platform, cisco, ethical hacking, cyber security, troubleshooting, server 2012. I have also developed greater communication skills as my day to day job relies heavily on being able to do this effectively.
I feel like I have been given a fantastic opportunity to develop my skills alongside gaining workplace experience. I work with a supportive team who are constantly encouraging me to ask questions and passing over important knowledge. Overall I couldn't be happier with how my 1st year working at RBS as an apprentice has went.
I feel valued because within my team I have been given important tasks and always get invited to meetings and get offered a chance to share my thoughts etc
I feel the programme is fairly well structured and I always had good communication from my assessor or from the apprenticeship team. I always knew when I had courses and what was expected from me etc.
Good level of support, always emailing back quickly if I had any concerns.
Always allowed me time to work on apprenticeship based items in work etc, so yes good support.
I feel the wage we are on is sufficient .

I have only positive things to say from an engaging, exciting company to work for with a good salary.
Be confident and sell the best version of yourself.
