I am an R&D apprentice working alongside highly skilled scientists and lab technicians to produce, analyse and report on products that the company makes.
My lab skills have greatly developed from when I left school and started working until now. As well as practical skills, my ability to work in a professional environment has greatly improved
I really enjoy my program, but there is a lot of work to do!
I feel very valued, being trusted to perform important research and report my findings to senior management.
Information is given from the leaders of the programme to the apprentices quickly and aims of the scheme are clearly set out.
In my studies, tutors are usual quick to offer help and are willing to explain things that you don't understand
When at work I receive a lot of support from those who have or are currently training me, people are always happy to help and I feel safe and comfortable to ask for help.
The pay is very good for an apprenticeship and with set payrises you are easily able to work out your finances.
There are social opportunities and clubs ran on site that you can attend. Company days out and team builiding events are good ways to get to know the people you work with better.
Yes
Very good, global company with many inspirational and world class professionals. The apprenticeship is the best I saw when I was looking.
Be honest, if you don't know an answer, don't make it up! Make sure you read up about the company and it's history and the international goals that it has
