currently I am studying at the apprentice training centre for Bae which is located in preston. I spend 8 week blocks going around different areas to help build my knowledge before moving onto site for the next 3 years to continue my apprenticeship. I learn a range of skills that fill both technical and craft roles. This helped me choose when specialising.
I have begun studying an nvq in engineering level 3. As well as this I have done many on the job tasks that give me hand skills.
I really enjoy the programme its the best oppertunity I have got.
I feel a very valued part of the BAE team and I feel very welcome no matter where I go.
very well structures and well organised. I never feel lost during my time.
I recieve as much support as I need from my training provider and they always check to see if I need more. They offer extra classes every night if you are falling behind.
I recieve lots of support from BAE in all forms.
My salary is a good salary but doesnt cover the full living costs. I strugle at the end of the month.
lots of company events are offered to us.
Yes
It is a great oppertunity and BAE really look after you. Its an option you cant turn down.
