My day to day role involved me shadowing an accountant for 1 week to learn what they do on a day to day basis, soon after I started to gain more responsibilities such as completing work tasks for the person I was shadowing.
I learnt how to work in an office space and I developed how to present work to a lot of people with confidence.
The part of the program I enjoyed the most was when we worked in groups of other people that were also part of the program.
We were really valued by EY as we were given a lot of help and they also treated us like adults.
The program was very well organised because everything was in place and they knew what we should be doing at all times
I received a lot of training as we gained a qualification whilst doing the program
We revived a lot of help from people we worked with, they also set aside time in their work day to introduce themselves to us and ask us questions
The salary met my costs really well
They provided me many opportunities outside of work as they have offered me many master classes and help when the program finished
Yes
It was a fun 2 weeks that I would remember for a very long time because we made friends and gained valuable experience
Make sure you apply before the deadline and prepare for the phone interview
