It was a 3 week programme. The first 2 weeks we learnt transferable skills including presentation, I.T skills, analytical skills and communication. Throughout the time there we worked towards a Level 2 qualification in Leadership and Management. During the last week we were put into the different departments, I was put in corporate tax
I now have a Level 2 Qualification in Leadership and Management, which I worked towards during the 3 weeks. I also developed my confidence though practicing presentations, in front of directors and managers. We also had an I.T induction, learning how to use new software. I also worked on my analytical and leadership skills
Learning the new skills including I now have a Level 2 Qualification in Leadership and Management, which I worked towards during the 3 weeks. I also developed my confidence though practicing presentations, in front of directors and managers. I also really enjoyed networking and making new friends and contacts with the managers and directors.
Everyone made me feel extremely welcome. It wasn't fake, it was genuine that they wanted me to feel welcome. Throughout the time I met over 200 people, and they all wanted to know me, and make me feel part of the team. During my time in the corporate tax team, everyone was willing to show me what they did, and offer to help me
The company and programme was very well organised . Before the work experience we were all invited to an induction day where we met everyone else who was part of it. During the time different people from around the business came and talked to us about a certain topic they had organised and everyone was very willing to help
I received a great amount of help. During the time different people from around the business came and talked to us about a certain topic they had organised and everyone was very willing to help. During the programme I was given a mentor, who is now still in touch with me and has helped me form my C.V and Ucas Statement for uni.
they were the same people, so I shall repeat myself. I received a great amount of help. During the time different people from around the business came and talked to us about a certain topic they had organised and everyone was very willing to help. During the programme I was given a mentor, who is now still in touch with me and has helped me form my C.V and Ucas Statement for uni.
I would have gotten work experience for free, however they did say that you would be paid over £500 for the 3 weeks, which I was. This is a great amount to have for the experience, and also you got £5 everyday for your lunch so you can tell the people in charge had spent a lot of money on each student.
If you were a full time employee you can tell there are a lot of events on. As the company has lots of young people, they go out frequently and have sports teams you can join. Events include, sports day, nights out, fun days, charity events. The chartered management area has a chill out space too
