As an intern I was obliged to do presentations on a weekly basis. On a daily basis I had to learn about the foundations of the Business
I have definitely become more confident with my presentation skills
I loved meeting such experienced people in the field that I'd like to go to one day.
Although I have A-Levels I still get emails from the company which makes me feel valued by the company
It could've been improved as I was allocated to work in the Home Office however I would've liked to which field section I was allocated to earlier on so I could've researched it.
Significant support, my mentors Anita and Shaun were very encouraging and helpful in creating a positive atmosphere.
Same as above
Very well
Yes; the company hosted many events such as the international women's day event. I would've loved to attend all of them however due to personal distress and exams so I wasn't as involved as I would've liked to have been.
Yes
It is one of the big four. The working environment the employers and the whole atmosphere is lovely and highly inspiring to work in, your mentors support you throughout so you do not feel unsupported. The internship itself has provided me opportunities to talk about my experience with working with one of the largest companies in the world.
Do research about the company. Be able to meet deadlines; have a clear schedule especially if you're trying to fit in external factors i,e summer schools. Practice an interview! This is coming from experience.
