  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy most of the people i work with, there are often pressurised situations due to time deadlines on work. Sometimes i don't enjoy the required flexibility of moving projects at short notice, requiring long travel times. I enjoy the varied amount of work which is given in a mixture of different degree of difficulty. The people that we work with are what make the job enjoyable.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Deloitte?
  • There is some level of recognition, however this is down to the individual senior above. All have different expectations, which makes it hard to get recognised and rewarded. Most of the time, some individuals who have worked hard will go unnoticed as they didn't work for managers who appreciate the work they do. Also reward is often based on talking to senior staff who are likely to be able to have an input into your reward/recognition

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • Apart from internal training, a very small amount. Internal training teaches us how to deal with tough situations and builds on talking skills with the clients and people we meet. This is usually run by senior members of staff within the office who all have a varied degree of experience. This would be better if training was done by a professional teacher, as sometimes it is hard to follow.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • There is a member of a hr team available if you widh to the speak to them, alongside business leaders who are able to talk to use about job specific issues. The access to these are not always clear but there are lots of different intiatives for various issues. On a dsy to day basis, there is little support unless you go and look for it.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • The salary is okay, in comparision to the grad programme it is not the best, considering you will be expected to do the same amount of work but being paid less. The equivalent of someone who is in the year below. All travel costs however are paid for providing it is for non office commutes.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There are many office events, which are spaced out to about 4 per year. These are varied in size and attendance. There is a good year group feel to the people you join with, which makes the most of the social events. The events are normally of good quality but these are spaced out throughput the year.
