Power Engineer, This involves travelling to different sites completing routines on our power equipment - DC batteries, AC generators etc.
Loads! Electrical skills have been my main focus in construction and fault finding. Mechanical knowledge has improved.
It's brilliant, everyday is something different you can work at your own pace and everyone around is happy to help
7/10 as a apprentice I feel like we have a lot to live up to with the other engineers but when I finish the apprenticeship I will feel better.
Learning wise (BTEC / NVQ) very. Internal training is hit and miss. Very good courses but not very frequent.
As much as you want, very helpful and supportive when needed and happy to let you do your own thing when allowed.
More than the average job.
Fantastic for an apprentice
If you go looking for them yes, but no pressure is put on these.
